1...No powerplaying, or godmoding. This means that you roleplay your characters, and yours only unless it has been specified that you have control over some one else's characters, such as if your character has a child whom you share between both accounts, or have been given permission by the roleplayer. It also means that your characters are expected to not be perfect, or have godlike qualities.
2...Do not beg for a dragonet color for your Trainee. I know that the rarer colors tend to be very desirable for Trainees, but if you are too certain that this is what you will get, or too desperate for one of the rarer colors, be certain that you will not. But please don't plead, though if you display qualities such as well thought out posts, and good leadership, you have a better chance at Impressing something higher. Activity and referrals also contribute.
5...Before you roleplay, you MUST POST YOUR CHARACTER'S PROFILE under Pending Characters, and wait for the approval of an Administrator. Once you are notified, by a post on the part of myself or another admin, you are free to roleplay wherever you wish in the Dragonhall or Shai.
4...Participation is preferable in plots. Yes, I know that's an alliteration, but isn't it easy to remember? The North Hall is a plot based site, and if you participate in those plots, that increases a ) activity, and b ) your chances of earning a rarer dragon, or higher rank!
5...If you do not roleplay your Trainee choosing an egg at the appropriate time from a Dragon's clutch, or do not roleplay at all during the hatching, it is virtually impossible for your Trainee to Bond. One cannot bond without having had an egg before hand...except in one circumstance. If you were active with the Trainee before hand but for some reason miss the Choosing of Eggs, and there are extra eggs, you may bring them in at the Hatching as if they have been caring for their egg all along.
6...If you wish to bring a character who is already a rider, then they may have Bonded to their dragon in either East Hall, or one of the other Three (North Hall, West Hall and South Hall, which are explained further in a different section of the Information Station) No Dragonriders have Bonded anywhere else, and none originate from Outside of Shai.
7...You are expected to respect your fellow roleplayers and the admin at all times. If you must have a disagreement, then you are expected to remove it from the boards, to MSN or PM if you must argue at all. If you cannot resolve it, you are behave maturely, and not complain to an Admin about it, since there is nothing they can do about it, while remaining fair to both roleplayers.
8...Romance is permitted, even to the PG-13 level, though if this is the case you must put a notification in the title of the roleplay in question. Just remember that attractions are rarely if ever instantaneous, and building one up can be the most fun of all.
9...If you have a plot in mind, an upcoming flight, or anything else of that sort, you MUST PM an admin and let them know what they are planning. Any admin has the ability to deny you permission to carry it out, if it interferes with something that they are planning, or if it does not fit the plotline of the Hall. Flights and Clutches must be approved beforehand.
10...Please be thoughtful when bringing in your characters. It is preferred if they have some flaws, and their dragons too if they are starting with one. No one is perfect. Especially not humans, so take that into account.
Also, don't expect to have a rare dragon to begin with, in a high position. Just because a dragon is a rare hue doesn't mean that it is high ranking.
11...You are free to roleplay your characters in more than one place, but don't abuse this privilege, if there is no time overlap between topics. Each post should contain at least two lines, which are full sentences.
