Appearance: Short, light brown hair with hints of blonde. Gideon has bright, eager blue eyes that still hold a lot of innocence. He is on the shorter side, barely reaching 5'2" and has a very thin structure practically skin and bones. Surprisingly enough he is very strong, despite his overall stature. Pale skin despite his time outside, and somehow he always finds a way to get himself dirty and usually not on purpose and it is not uncommon to see him with a bandage of some sort on his body. He always wears a leather bracelet that contains the green gem that works as his focus.
Personality: Gideon is chipper and optimistic to a fault. He sees the best in every person and situation to the point where he often doesn't realize when he's been wronged. He treats everyone as a precious soul that shouldn't be wasted and has a very naive and childlike way of things. He can be very persistent and determined once he gets his mind set on something but can in part be quite indecisive, taking a long time to come to a decision. He has grown up with very few friends sadly, as most people grow highly bothered by his boundless energy. He is extremely loyal and is constantly putting himself forth for others, but contains the ability to realize there are things he can't handle and has to say no so that he can be at his very best.
Despite his childlike personality, Gideon is quite smart and a fast learner. He can catch onto situations fairly quickly and realize when enough is enough. He is very attuned to other's emotions and while he never seems to cry for himself, it is not uncommon for him to be seen crying for others. Gideon is also quite a klutz and more often then not, getting himself hurt.
His gem provides him with his strong empathy as well as telepathy and limited telekinesis.

History: Coming from a small fishing village towards the border of Shai, Gideon was born the oldest into a very poor family, his sister, Kana, was born seven years later and Nirem was born two years after that. Gideon's father passed away from sickness not long after Nirem's birth, but Gideon continued to idolize him and tell his sister's stories late into the night.
His mother struggled to support them, even with Gideon's help, but somehow they made it by. His mother was weary, but appreciated her son's endless energy and optimism. They were a very appreciative family, always happy for what they had and refusing to let envy enter their hearts for what they didn't.
When Gideon turned ten, he was approached by a woman. She was kind and gentle and while he never got her name, he knew he would never forget her face. She disappeared as quickly as she came, but left behind a gift. A leather cuff with a green stone embedded in it. When he put it on he realized he was able to do rather unnatural things.
As he learned how to use these new abilities, he was able to help his mother even more and just after his fourteenth birthday rolled around, he was invited to the Hall to train. While he hated leaving his family, he was eager to go and fulfill his dream of being a dragonwarrior. With a little push from his mother and excited farewell from his sisters, he was off with hope that he could protect not only his family but the rest of the land as well.
