It had been a long day of wandering the jungle as an exercise assigned by the combat instructor, and Alan was about ready to call it quits. They were supposed to find something and bring it back to the Hall, but Goddess only knows if he knew what the object was. No doubt someone else had already found it and returned it to their instructor, and now he was out here wandering around with no real idea on where he was or where he should be going. Sure, he'd been here for a couple years, but that didn't mean he knew every inch of the jungle. The trainee let out a huff of air and withdrew his water skin from the bag that hung from his waist. He drew a swig and looked around again before replacing the water skin and then rolling up the sleeves on his shirt. It was more humid today than it had been in a couple days and it bothered him, if only because it caused his skin to become sticky and sweat to pour down the curve of his back. He huffed and unstuck the front of his shirt from his body before climbing over another set of roots and ducking the vines above his head. A sudden chattering caught his attention and the young male turned his head and looked up. The thick foliage of the jungle blocked most of his view but he saw a flash of white and then a faint flapping sound. Curious, he turned and scaled up the tree closest to him with the practiced ease of someone that had been made to do this many times. Once he had himself balanced on a branch, the man crept towards the edge and peered across to the other tree. To his surprise there was a nest built there. The contents were barely visible but he recognized the shape of the eggs to be Aryvole. Alan almost whooped with glee at his find, surely it was better than anything the others could have found. No matter what their instructor said, this was a great find. Obviously it was an Ivory's clutch, the flash of white beforehand had given that away. He grinned and dropped down on the branch, hanging on with his fingertips before swinging himself across to the other branch just below the nest of eggs. He managed to wrangle himself up onto the same branch as the eggs and quickly counted them. There were thirteen in all, that was a great size. Grinning widely, the brunette grabbed his bag and pulled out the water skin again, tucking it under his arm and then holding his bag open. He swiftly began to transfer the eggs into his bag, yet he was careful about it. He retied the bag to his belt as soon as all 13 eggs were safe inside, and he swung down the trees and landed on the ground gracefully. He moved at a measured pace back to where everyone was supposed to meet after the lesson and was unsurprised to see the group of people that were all ready there. He lifted his hand, hailing them with a grin before he untied his bag from his belt and knelt to the ground. "So, ya'll won't believe what I found," he said, his grin widening. He opened the bag and let the sides fall down around the eggs that he had balanced in there. "An Ivory clutch, thirteen eggs in all. They're close to hatching too, they're practically humming," he said. Their instructor inched closer before laughing. "Well done, Alan. Dole them out in that case, can't have too many of them running off wild," he said, slapping the boy on the back. Alan smiled brightly at the combat instructor before looking at his peers. "Well, uhm... just tell me which one you want and I'll pass the egg over," he said with a laugh. There are 13 eggs. There are only 7 played characters currently, that means many will be impressing to 2 Aryvole to keep them from going wild. Similar to how other hatchings are run here, the eggs are randomized and you will select which ones you want with a note at the top of your post. I will then have Alan pass you the egg and play out it's hatching.01. Claimed By: Evanthe (Ivaii) 02. Claimed By: Wraith (Lynn) 03. Claimed By: Wraith (Lynn) 04. Claimed By: Natya (Summer) 05. Natya had been looking for something good, then sighed softly. She hadn't found anything, and she wasn't used to hunting without her Moonstone Yandori with her. She had been about to tell the instructor that she hadn't found anything when the boy, Alan, came back with a Clutch of Aryvol eggs. She went over to him and looked at the eggs. "I think I'd like that rainbow-colored one," she told him. "And... Can I have that one too?" This time, she pointed to the grey plaid egg. She didn't reach for them yet, waiting for confirmation that she could take them.
Aren had already gotten two Aryvol. Would another be too much? But Rosetta did want a friend around her age. He sighed and shrugged, reaching for the darker purple egg. He didn't really want two more, but one more baby Aryvole he could handle.

Alan smiled at Natya as she was the first to step forward. He looked at the eggs she had pointed at and swiftly uncovered them from the rest of the pile. He pulled out the gray egg first and passed it over to her with a smile before he dug out the rainbow colored one and handed it over as well. "Here you are, Natya. I'd be careful, they look like they're about to shatter," he said with a laugh.
True enough to what Alan was saying, the eggs in her hands began to tremble and quiver. The rainbow egg cracked first, quivering with excitement so that the pieces began to simply shake away from the shell. A nose popped out, revealing a pale blue-green coloration before the head followed. The baby turquoise pushed her way from the rest of the shell and scurried up Natya's arm, chirring at her before running back down her arm and grabbing her finger in her paws, examining it for a moment before biting down on the appendage to seal the bond. She looked back up at the girl, chirring once more before she spoke.
"Natya. Hungry. Feed?"
During this lull the gray egg decided that now would be a perfect time to shatter and send its contents to the jungle floor. A dark green shape sat there for a moment, the sunlight catching the emerald veining on his feathers before the moss stood and regarded those around him then looked back at Natya, who's palm he had fallen from. He chirped indignantly - how dare she let him fall - before scurrying up her leg and side to sit on her shoulder. He then promptly latched onto her ear to seal the bond. "Feed me? No more fall. Dirt bad." he stated, digging his claws into her shoulder to keep his balance as he swung his head around and stared into her eyes.
Alan laughed in amusement at the proceedings before he spotted Aren selecting an egg. He nodded lightly at the selection of the dark purple egg, sitting back and watching as it started to rock and quake in the boys palm. The first bits of the shell fell away before falling away completely and leaving a ruddy brown shape sitting in Aren's palm. The Ochre took a moment to clean off the egg goop before looking up and over at the boy that he sat on. He chirped, then swiftly bit his finger before moving up to sit on his shoulder calmly. "Food now. Hungry. Go."

Natya winced when the Turquoise bit her finger, but smiled when she felt the connection. Natya. Hungry. Feed? asked the young female. Her mind-voice was protective, yet tense. As if she was already watching out for the young girl.
"Of course," Natya said with a smile. "Just as soon as..." Then, the other egg fell out of her hand. She yelped, doing her best to catch it, but failing to do so. She saw the emerald colors shifting as the Aryvol moved, and she quickly made to pick it up. The Moss scurried up her arm and bit her ear, causing a surprised gasp to escape from Natya's lips. Then, she heard his mind-voice in her mind. Surprisingly soft, yet demanding at the same time. She smiled softly.
Feed me? No more fall. Dirt bad.
"Sorry about that," she told him, running a finger over his soft fur. "You're not hurt, are you?"
Not hurt.
"That's good. Alright then, you two," Natya said with a soft smile. "Let's get you some food." She looked at the instructor. "Um... What do they eat?" ________
Aren smiled softly as the egg broke calmly in his hand. He didn't react when the Orchre bit his finger, but he liked the feel of the other mind. Ricken chirped indignantly and went to share a shoulder with Rosetta, who actually went over to the Orchre. Then his mind-voice broke through Aren's thoughts.
Food now. Hungry. Go.
"I think it's time we all eat," he told them, thinking. "A name... How about... Crom?" He felt satisfaction flow across the new bond.
Crom. Yes.
"It's settled then." With that, he went towards the kitchens to find some good nuts for all three of his Aryvole.

[03 and 02]
Wraith and Quiera were striding along together, but only because the elder female had offered to teach the younger how to read and write after Wraith had admitted to not knowing how. They were almost there when the young man returned and held out the eggs. Wraith squeaked with delight and trotted forwards and Quiera laughed. Wraith had admitted to being head over heels for the Aryvole at one point, as well as desperately wanting one, although she'd been too noble of character to steal one from the Merchant in town. Quiera stayed back and just watched, preferring to try for a yandorei later. She liked the Aryvole, but not enough to try for one right now. Perhaps after she had a Yandori.
"Could I have a couple?" Wraith asked eagerly, resisting the urge to bounce on her feet. "I love the solid white one and the one with the blue speckles."

{Eggs: 5 and 9}
Gideon had been one of the later ones to return. He had no clue what he was looking for or where to find it, but he was having enough fun just traipsing around in the forest like the energetic child he was. After not running into anybody for several minutes he decided to head back. Finding the group centered around something he picked up the pace and looked over to see what everyone was so excited about.
"Oh wow!" he cried. "I want the grey speckled one and the pale green one!" he cried, only remembering afterwards to say please. His day couldn't get any better! Especially since they were already starting to hatch so he didn't have to wait to see the creatures inside.

Alan didn't have time to hand the others their eggs before they were all suddenly shaking and multiple eggs shattered at once. He wasn't quite sure which Aryvole came from which egg anymore, but they knew exactly where they wanted to go. A small Turquoise was quickly scrambling up Wraith's clothes, avoiding the conflict on the ground that had suddenly taken place. She paid just enough attention to latch onto the girl's finger before sitting on her shoulder, watching what was happening.
A Cobalt, Ivory, Carmine, and two Corals had hatched in the few seconds after the Turquoise did and made her way to safety. The Cobalt was eyeing everyone darkly before running up to Gideon and chittering at the boy, giving his wings a couple of flaps and fumbling his way up onto Gideon's hand to bite his finger and seal the deal. Mine. Feed me. Siblings dumb. He stated, sitting there and bending his head to lick his feathers.
The female Coral had swiftly made her decision as well, starting to head towards Wraith but was stopped by a screaming Ivory that landed on top of her. The Queen hatchling had no intention of letting the pink colored clutch mate bond to HER bonded. She screeched at the Coral once more dashing over to Wraith and climbing up her as well. She made her way all the way to her shoulder and bit the closest piece of open flesh -- happening to be her cheek -- before shoving her face against her bonded's and chirring happily. She can't have you. That was all the little queen said before sitting back regally.
The little coral that had been pounced cried out, back pedaling before running into Gideon's leg. She cheeped before running up his leg and settling on his shoulder, latching onto his ear before curling into his neck to escape the wrath of her Ivory sister. Help! Safe!
The Carmine and the second Coral had sat there in shock before the second Coral ran over to Natya, chirping at her and crawling up her leg. He clambered over the other two of his clutch mates that sat on her shoulders and landed on her head, chirring lightly towards the Ivory as if scolding her. She had no right to harm the little Coral in that way. He leaned in front of Natya's face and placed a sharp bite to her nose to claim her as his before sitting back on his perch. Hungry. Eat fruit. Berry. Nuts, he said, supplying her with the answer to her earlier question.
The Carmine slowly inched her way towards Wraith before scurrying up and clutching onto one of her hands. She chirped lightly at the girl, biting onto her hand before the Ivory had a chance to attack her. She radiated smugness at that, and the Ivory fluffed, prepared to attack her before the Turquoise that had bonded to her earlier moved over and growled at them both. Enough.
The little Carmine growled at her before crawling the rest of the way up and taking the Turquoise's spot. Mine, hungry, she demanded, preening herself.
Wraith
Name: Gender: Female Species: Aryvole Rank: Turquoise [42b592]
Appearance: This little one is the very reason this coloring got the name of Turquoise, her feathers coming off as a rich and vibrant sea green color that sparkle in the sun with the undertones of the ocean itself. She's pretty and she knows it, but she doesn't flaunt it. She's a moderately built Turquoise, sitting there with nothing very remarkable about her except for her coloring. Personality: This little lady knows that she's pretty, but she stays by her bonded most of the time. She'd much rather go on an adventure with her bonded than be fawned over by male aryvole. She's a quiet one, doesn't speak a whole lot, but it's clear that she loves her bonded with an unconditional sort of feeling. Her mind just holds this endless chasm that is filled with love for her bonded and those her bonded is close with.
Name: Gender: Female Species: Aryvol Rank: Carmine [47979]
Appearance: She is a dainty little thing, very much the princess she claims she is. Soft feathers, almost completely downy, she's a rich vibrant red in coloration. Undertones of rose and a pale pink dance through her feathers as well, bringing across the point that she is pretty, and delicate. But don't let that fool you, she has her thorns. Personality: She's one of the more... bipolar of her clutch. Happy and sweet one moment, the next she's attempting to claw someone's face off because they moved in a way she didn't like. She believes herself to be a princess, and expects to be treated as such. Therefore, everyone bows down to her. The only thing higher than her are... well... the Queens of her species. Because she has to bow to them. She fully expects all Cobalts the males below them to worship her on high though.
Name: Gender: Female Species: Aryvol Rank: Ivory [fbf7d9]
Appearance: She is the purest shade of white imaginable, practically glowing in the dark no matter the time of night. She's large, the largest of her clutch mates by far, and even larger than her mother was. Her feathers glow with a sheen of overlying colors that reflect the rest of the colors of her species. It's possible to see every color in her feathers, giving her an opalescent shine that she preens over. Personality: The first thing one notices about her is that she's protective of what she considers hers, though that's just a politer version of jealous, possessive Queen. She doesn't take no for an answer easily, but knows exactly what she wants and she will make sure that she always gets it. No matter what. She doesn't play lightly, she's far more serious than that. She is a Queen, expects to be treated like a Queen, and she knows what to do and when to do it to keep everyone in her charge safe. Including her bonded.
Gideon
Name: Gender: Female Species: Aryvol Rank: Coral [ecb5a3]
Appearance: This little lady is a pastel pink shade, with threads of orange and a hotter pink shifting across her feather's depending on the time of day and the angle of light. She's average size for a coral, and she enjoys that. It means she can run and do things that many of her larger clutch mates cannot. Personality: She's a bouncy lass, always happy to do whatever her bonded wants to do and having a bounce to every step or flap of her wings. She carries herself with a bubble seemingly, unable to see the cruelties of the world and nicely balancing out her cobalt brother's surliness. She's playful too, she'll constantly ask her bonded to play games with her.
Name: Gender: Male Species: Aryvol Rank: Cobalt [2c266b]
Appearance: He's a dark blue, borderline navy and prefers it that way. It reflects his dark nature. But there is the occasional feather that takes on a light blue color, closer to the color of the sky than the rest of him. It can give him a mottled look but he pays it no heed. He's large as well, almost the size of his Ivory sister, but he won't be quite as large when fully mature. Personality: He's a surly, doom and gloom type of guy. The world is ending, pirates are coming, there's a plague around the corner. He just... doesn't see the world as a happy place. But because of this he's protective, keeping close to his bonded and growling at anyone that gets too close. Of course both his bonded and his sister are happy beings, so he's often outnumbered, but he isn't afraid to pull rank if he must.
Natya
Name: Gender: Male Species: Aryvol Rank: Coral [ecc1a3]
Appearance: This young aryvol is a pale peach color, lighter orange and pinks tracing through his feathering on occasion. He's the runt of the clutch, ending up small even for a coral aryvol. His wings, however, are larger than they need to be and so he has an ease with flying that many do not have. Personality: He's small, but he has a heart of gold. This coral shows no fear in the face of anything and is prepared to do whatever he has to in order to keep the balance. He sticks close to his bonded, and will often play as mediator between his turquoise sister and who she thinks will harm their bonded. He acts as the voice of reason in many ways.

Wraith's eyes widened as chaos began to break out, but suddenly, her finger stung faintly, and she had a Turquoise on her shoulder watching what was going on. "Well hello there," she murmured, then blinked as the screech of startled pain rang out, looking back swiftly, in time to see the Ivory clambering up her leg. She raised it faintly to aid the Queen, not knowing if she was the one who had screeched or not, then winced as her cheek stung, abruptly possessing a fluffy cheek ornament. The Ivory's words confused her, and the Turquoise made a soft sound and nuzzled the other cheek gently.
She watched as the chaos settled itself, the little one on Natya's head seeming to scold her Ivory, further confusing her, then she had the Carmine climbing her leg. The back of her hand was where this one chose to nip her, and her Ivory fluffed up. Then, the Turquoise finally spoke, and Wraith sighed. She was going to have her hands full, she could already tell. Three females meant plenty of eggs though, and there were other females from the clutch as well.
Wraith, food please. We are hungry, the Ivory reiterated, and Wraith blinked. "I'm so sorry girls," she said apologetically, then moved towards the kitchen to retrieve food for them. As she passed Quiera, the older girl smiled and murmured a gentle congratulations, making Wraith smile in return. She then continued on, listening to the little voices in her head as the Ivory and Carmine argued with one another, the Turquoise remaining silent now everything was said and done.

Natya stilled when the Coral climbed up her leg. "Hey!" she cried indignantly when he bit her nose. Then his mind-voice spoke to her.
Hungry. Eat fruit. Berry. Nuts, he told her.
"Thanks..." she said, unable to nod so she wouldn't unsettle her third Aryvol. Three at one Hatching. She didn't even feel bad that the Ivory Hatchling had Bonded to another. She smiled softly, thinking about names. The Coral kind of reminded her of a sunset, or perhaps a dawn sky... But Dawn was not a boy's name. What would be a good name? She turned her head to the little Moss on her shoulder. "Oliver?" she suggested. He nodded, preening his feathers. She smiled again. "Alright. One name down, two to go."
She turned toward the Turquoise girl on her other shoulder. "Hm... How about... Jenny?" She nuzzled her Bonded, happy with the name. "One left then." Natya put her hands around the Coral, gently picking him up, and held him out in front of her. "So... What to name you..." Her expression turned thoughtful. "Maybe... Hm... How about... Merlin." The Coral chirped at her.
Merlin is nice. Merlin good.
"That settles it then," Natya said with a smile.

Gideon was shocked when the dark little creature chose him so quickly. He gasped and flinched lightly when the creature bit his finger but smiled lightly as he spoke.
"Now now, they can't be that bad." Gideon gave a small chuckle and patted his head. "Now, you need a name. How about.... Zeelik?" He asked.
The Cobalt Aryvol seemed to contemplate it for a while before giving a small nod. Zeelik....okay. And with that consent hardly given, a small screech quickly had Gideon's attention. He quickly turned to the source of the sound only to realize to late that yet another Aryvol was headed his direction. By the time he caught on she was already on his shoulder, the bond made. He hardly flinched or any reaction this time.
"Oh sweetie, it's alright," he said soothingly, stroking her gently. "Now what shall I call you? You're such a pretty color. How about Fiera?" he asked.
Yes yes! Fiera good! She proclaimed chipperness in her voice.
Gideon smiled. "Fiera it is then."
