It was late in the day, between Lessons, and a soft chattering could be heard from within the Common Room of the dorm area. If one listened closely enough, they would be able to distinguish three distinct 'voices' in the noise, one deeper and more demanding, a higher pitched, more tranquil chatter, and one that was neither high nor low but distinctly "primp" in how it sounded.
If one actually ENTERED, they would find a young girl with rather plain brown hair wrestling with keeping up with the appetites of three young Aryvole, in shades of Ivory, Carmine and Turquoise. The three younglings were in various places around the girl, one on her shoulder, one the chair back above her and one on the arm to her side, but all of them were obviously hungry, for they took the food she offered happily. The Ivory was the only one physically in contact with her, curled on her shoulder, and was nibbling the food even as she watched the Carmine jealously. The Turquoise on the chair back was all bit ignored by the little Queen, seen as unimportant and not a threat. Her only importance was that she too was blood-bound to the Ivory's person, and therefor important to the Person and to be guarded as such. The CARMINE however, was an annoyance that should not even have BEEN Bonded to her Person. Growling under her breath, Pearl nibbled at the food in her paws once more.
Ruby was pretending to ignore Pearl, but she was, at the same time, purposefully irking the Queen, making sure she stayed in her vision, rubbing against their Person's hand whenever it got close and just encouraging the Ivory to be annoyed with her. She was just as important as the Queen dangit. She was a Princess of their kind, subject only to the orders of those such as the Ivory. She would have to find that little Cobalt male later and see if she could encourage his attention.
Aquamarine, on the other hand, was just watching her sisters and shaking her little head, amused and at the same time annoyed by their competition. They all had the same Person, and their Person loved them all equally, none above the other. She made sure they were all cared for equally, all fed, all groomed when needed. There was no cause for the rivalry between the Ivory and the Carmine. But rivals they were. Chittering softly to herself, she gently took the berry the Person was offering and nibbled on it delicately, careful not to get juice on the fabric below her. Ruby had been chastised for doing so.
Wraith was watching all of them, amused by the seeming rivalry between her Queen and her Carmine. She had figured out that the Ivory felt the Carmine had gone behind her back and should not have Bound to Wraith as she had, hence her annoyance with her still. She had also figured out the Carmine didn't REALLY see Pearl as ABOVE her, persay. more on an equal footing, even though they both instinctively knew better. The Carmine demanded the Princess treatment, at least from others, especially the males, and she usually got it. Wraith didn't treat any of her Aryvole above the others, for she loved them all equally.
