Times have changed...and so has Pern.
What was once tradition is no more,and now a new age has begun. The age of War! No longer is thread a menace to Pern, no longer are the Dragons rising to fight it. Now, now they rise for something else, they rise to fight each other! The struggle for dominance is ever going and anything can turn the tide. The Northern States are under a shaky "truce" after the Starstones War, but with the recent actions of Nyris' Princess stolen by Erris who Impressed to a Benden Queen, only to escape and return to Fort. Things are not what they seem, is this Princess an enemy or foe? Will Nyris declare war on Erris for the kidnapping of their Princess? Will Erris declare war on Nyris for the lost of a Goldrider? What about Angris who seems too quite after losing land to both States?
It's anyone's guess, but one thing is for sure, war is on the horizon.
