Natya had been checking up on her Yandori. It wasn't normal for her to go without her hunting partner nearby for so long. She got down on her knees, smiling at her friend. "So, Moonpool, how're the eggs?" she asked. Moonpool chittered at her Bonded, the largest of the eggs sitting between her forepaws. She felt something within one of the eggs, then sent a picture of them, broken, to her Bonded. Natya gasped softly.
"They're Hatching!" she exclaimed. "Merlin, send word to the other Aryvole, would you?" The Coral nodded and began to chirp, running to the entrance of the kitchen so the hallway would carry his voice. He also mind-spoke to the Hall's Aryvole.
HATCHING! Kitchen. Now.
The Moonstone Queen stood up, backing up slightly, so all of the eggs were in front of her. This would be interesting. She hoped her babies would at least find someone to be their Bonded. But there was always the possibility of them going wild.

Wraith was seated in the little desk she and Quiera had managed to charm off of one of the janitors-it had been on its way to the trash pile but was still usable for their purposes-practicing her writing. Her Aryvole were assembled around her, Pearl curled around her neck asleep, Ruby on her head and Aquamarine in the little pouch she carried some of her things in. She had almost finished when Pearl came awake, head rubbing her cheek. "What hon?" she inquired of the Queen, who was obviously listening.
The Ivory was quick to tell her, and she looked at Quiera grinning. "The Yandorei eggs are Hatching!" she told her excitedly, and, as expected, Quiera leapt from her seat, as excited as Wraith had been for the Aryvole Hatching.
"Well let's go!" the older girl said, and Wraith got up. Both girls ran for the kitchen, Wraith's three babies all chirring excitedly, reflecting their Bound's excitement. Once they got there, Wraith held back. She had enough babies to keep up with. She didn't need another one, she thought with amusement.
Quiera, on the other hand, padded forwards, trying to keep some of her grace and poise and utterly failing once she reached the clutch area. Her staff leaned against the wall, she kneeled, not caring of the dust and dirt that got on her pale blue gown, her pink eyes excited. "Hello little Queen," she murmured to Moonpool, inclining her head to the Moonstone with respect.

Natya smiled at the two girls that came in first. Hopefully more people would come before the eggs really started to Hatch. She turned back to the eggs, noticing that the two eggs behind Moonpool were the first to start really shaking. The first of the two began to crack, and chirping could suddenly be heard from within. The other beige egg, however, simply kept shifting back and forth. The first egg finally broke, revealing a large Marble with pale blue and purple streaks. She stumbled around the fragments of her shell, then tripped over her mother's tail. Moonpool nudged the hatchling with her nose. The Marble stood again, then spied the egg furthest away from her, swirling with orange, blue-grey, and black stripes. She approached it and began circling it, then sat and simply looked at the egg. Oh, how the colors intrigued her. Such an interesting bunch of eggs... But this one, there was something different about it...
The other beige egg finally began to crack, but there wasn't any real chirping from it. As shard after shard fell away, the egg's inhabitant finally revealed herself. Another Marble, this one smaller than her sister, with an off-yellow-white hide and brown streaks. Unlike her adventurous sister, the smaller Marble stayed hidden behind her mother. She was a bit afraid of the world outside her egg. Maybe she could find someone to help her until she was more confidant in herself... but who?
As if signaled by the hatching of their Marble sisters, the rest of the eggs began to shake. Except for the two eggs closest to the Moonstone, who sat protectively with the largest egg between her paws, and the next largest egg nearby. The dark purple egg next to that one remained still as well.

Quiera watched intently as the two eggs Hatched, revealing the lovely Marbles. They were lovely colors, both of them, she thought, just examining them. Her gaze kept wandering to the three eggs closest to the mother, her curiosity piqued. She wanted to know what colors! she thought excitedly. Almost unconsciously, she reached down, and a pad and graphite slunk out of her bag and into her hands, her desire to keep notes showing itself as she wrote down the first two Hatchlings, then waited. Wraith had told her that Natya was curious about what colors her Moonstone would Hatch, and Quiera wanted to see if there was some sort of pattern to it. So she also wrote down the egg descriptions and sizes.

Evanthe perked up as it was her Mudd that relayed the message to her, tipping her head slightly. "Yandorei hatching you say," she said calmly before she headed over to the kitchens. If anything it would be interesting to see what was going on over there. She slid into the kitchen and smiled softly as she spotted the first of the eggs hatching to reveal them as marbles. Her ochre aryvol hopped from her shoulder and padded over towards the Moonstone yandorei mother, chirring at her gently before looking at the babies there.
Jeoffrey, her moss, stayed on her shoulder and watched them all from afar. Evanthe gave a small smile to the others around, sticking back by the wall and curious about everything that was going on. Hatchings were always a happy occasion, and this would be no exception. She noticed a couple of others that lurked around the kitchen, a couple of dragontrainees and dragonwarriors that were curious about the going ons as well.

While the two Marbles remained occupied with their activities, some of the other eggs began to hatch as well. The three green eggs began to shake, as well as the two red ones. It was almost as if they were racing each other to see who could hatch first. It was one of the green eggs, as a Jade spilled onto the ashes. She chirped at the other green eggs, as if saying I win!
The other green eggs also broke open, as another Jade, then another, hatched for all eyes to see. One of them had emerald streaks, another had spring green streaks, and the third had none. They were all the same size, and of the same build. And they began to play together, racing around the shards of their eggs. Then, the plain Jade looked over at the red eggs. She chirped at her sisters, and the three raced over to the red eggs just as they hatched as well.
One of the Garnet brothers was a bloody red color, larger than the other. The smaller one was bordering on Aryvole Carmine color. But they both also began to race with the Jade sisters.
The shy Marble finally ventured out from behind her mother, watching the people gathered. She turned to the small girl, noticing that she smelled kind of like mother. She went over and nudged the girl with her nose, and Natya blinked at another new bond in days. She laughed and picked up the Marble.
"Guess you're mine now, huh?" she asked softly. "Well, its fine." The Marble settled into Natya's shoulder. "Maybe I should get a canine..." she voiced suddenly. "Then they'd have someone besides me to perch on."
Natya:
Name: Color: Marble Looks: Smaller than her sister, her hide is more of a yellow-white than beige. She has streaks of browns through her hide as well, different shades. Personality: She is more likely to be found perched on her Bonded’s shoulder than out exploring anything, for sure. She is just fine keeping her place on her Bonded, as she knows she is safe when she sticks close to the one she claimed. However, she tends to be a bit clingy toward her mother, again sticking where she is safe.

Quiera chuckled as she watched the antics of the little ones. They were incredibly cute, she thought, especially with how they seemed to just be enjoying being able to play with one another. Three Jades and 2 Garnets, all from eggs the same hues as they were, she thought, writing it down for later inspection. Her curiosity shifted back to the three largest eggs, examining their colors, and she cocked her head slightly, wondering if those shells too would hold babies of similar color to the shell.
Wraith remained where she was, although she'd moved so she and her Aryvole could see what was going on. Somehow she wasn't surprised to see Quiera taking notes, and a smile flicked over her lips. "Sometimes she's so predictable," she murmured to her Aryvole, and they all chirped in amused agreement.

The Garnets and Jades finally seemed to be tiring out. One of the Garnets went to Quiera and chirped at her, nudging her hand. One of the Jades made her way over to Wraith, chirping. The others each went out to the other onlookers. The Marble stayed in her place, watching the colorful egg.
One of the larger eggs finally began to shake. The second largest egg had started to move, then crack. But it suddenly went still for a moment, before shattering outward as the little Yandori came flailing out of his egg. It was a Diamond, and he turned to the two remaining largest eggs, dividing his attention between them, and then went over to the largest egg and circled it, as if guarding it from the rest of the hatchlings. He knew what was inside it, even if the others didn't.
Then the Marble jumped back as the orange-black-blue egg began to shake, and she seemed to glare at it. Then a single crack ran down the middle. Multiple voices could be heard inside it. Then the egg split in half, with one hatchling sliding around each side. The orange one, a Tiger's Eye, finally got herself together and scrambled out of the shell. The Hawk's Eye wasn't so lucky, ending up spilling from his half of the egg. He was the smaller twin, and he quickly jumped on the Tiger's Eye, and they began wrestling around.
Queira:
Name: Color: Garnet Looks: This Garnet is a dark, bloody red color, with a soft metallic sheen to his scales. He is on the small side for his color, but has longer legs than normal. He is a better runner, faster than his other Garnet brother. Personality: He is very competitive when near his Garnet brother. Beyond that, he is often out and about somewhere, and loves to play with both his Bonded and anyone who is willing. However, he will never stray too far from his Bonded’s side.

Gideon had been studying in his room when he got the summons. He jumped up, nearly sending the dozing Zeelik to the ground from his shoulder. He gripped on managing not to fall. Fiera, unfortunately, was not so luck and fell off the boy's lap with a small thud.
"Sorry sorry!" He said against her hurt protests, scooping her up and attempting to soothe her. She quickly forgave him and snuggled along the arm he held across his stomach for her as he smiled and quickly racing out of the room, not bothering with his shoes.
As he came into the hatching, there were already a couple people there and several eggs hatched. It didn't seem many had bonded yet though so he couldn't be that late.
Fiera scurried up his arm and onto his head, curiously observing the situation while Zeelik seemed like he couldn't care less about the whole thing.

Abruptly, there was a Garnet before her, and Quiera forgot all about her note taking, instead moving to feed him and gently pick him up. "You are a handsome lad aren't you?" she murmured softly, stroking him. He made a soft hissing noise that was distinctly pleased, and she smiled, then looked over at Wraith who was, she noted, eyeing the Jade who'd approached her, but not moving. She'd made it clear her Aryvole were a handful and that she had no desire to Bond to anymore little ones right now. Maybe later, but not now.
Wraith looked at the Jade carefully, then sighed. She really didn't need another baby to care for, she thought. Her three were such a handful. Pearl chittered at the Jade, flicking her feathered tail in distinct annoyance, though it strangely didn't reflect in the noise she made. All she was doing was encouraging the Jade to find someone who actually wanted her, someone who would be willing to feed and care for her. Their Bonded had her hands full and couldn't take the strain.

Azhure had already heard about the eggs being laid, and had sneaked a glance or two at them. She had developed a fondness for the creatures, but had never had a chance to bond to one herself. None of her family members liked them, so even though she wanted one, that was one of the few things she wasn't allowed to have. She found out about the actual Hatching a little late, as she had no other critter to warn her it was happening. She happened to catch the echo of a call.
She rushed to where the eggs were located and looked over the clutch. It seemed there were still some unhatched, as well as several unbonded Yandorei who were walking around. She moved closer, eyes wide. "Pretty..." she murmured allowed, glancing over the already Hatched, and then at the ones who had yet to do so.

As the Jade sadly moved away from Wraith and back toward the other eggs, the largest one finally began to shake. The second-largest also shook. The others stilled and turned toward them, including the Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye who had been rolling around playing. The purple-red egg included in the largest three also began to shake. Cracks appeared in each egg, and the purple egg decided it was ready to hatch first. It shuddered, the ashes covering it falling to the floor, and the shell flaked away, revealing an Amethyst. She turned to the other two eggs, which were still shaking, and tapped each with her nose. The largest egg exploded outward with much screeching, revealing an indignant Opal who was obviously not happy about being helped. The Amethyst glared at the Opal before sauntering off to look at the crowd.
The Opal then turned to the final unhatched egg that was close to the Moonstone mother and bashed at it with her tail. She caused the shell to collapse inward on its occupant, drawing a loud squawk from the surprised Yandori within it. The Opal stepped back, chittering softly to the little thing that was having trouble getting the shards off. It stilled, then shook itself like a canine, sending egg shards everywhere, finally revealing the Diamond within.
With the Diamond revealed, the others finally decided to go look for people for them.
The twin Tiger's Eye and Hawk's Eye ventured out into the crowd together. The Tiger's Eye, obviously the larger and more feminine of the two, directed her brother over to one of the girls. They stopped in front of Azhure, both chirping.
The Amethyst began to look around, as well as her Opal sister and Diamond brother. The Diamond went straight for the one boy in the crowd, and crawled up Gidgeon's arm to rest on his shoulder.
Azhure:
Name: Color: Tiger's Eye(f) Basics: Larger than her twin, she is a bright orange with a yellow stripe down her spine. She is a playful girl who tends to vanish from time to time and come back with some new story to tell.
Name: Color: Hawk's Eye(m) Basics: He is smaller than his twin, and that constantly bugs him. However, he is often seen by her side as she adventures around the Hall.
Gidgeon:
Name: Color: Diamond Basics: He is the largest of his siblings, with the exception of his Opal sister. He is very protective of his Bonded, and will not likely let another Yandori Bond with his anytime soon.

GIDEON blinked in surprise when the diamond came to settle on his shoulder. He wasn't expecting the creature to pick so quickly, but he was instantly happen to be the one he had chosen. He smiled at the Yandorei.
"Well hello there," he said, "What should we call you?"
While Fiera chirped names from atop Gideon's head, more than happy to have a new friend, Zeelik was a seemed bothered by the addition though wouldn't voice why with anything more than a chirp that could only be taken for a cold grunt.
"How about I name Nirvan? I think it fits," he said, stroking the freshly hatched creatures head.
Nirvan nodded, setting down snuggly on Gideon's neck as he agreed.

Azhure squeaked in delight as the pair of Yandorei came to her. She had missed the two Hatching, but she knew enough about them to realized that they were the twin breed ones.
She takes both of them up, cuddling them to her chest. "Hello there, lovelies. I think I will call you Zeeva," she said to the girl, " and I'll call you Lenard." She smiled as they chirped happily.
Azhure decided to wait until the end of the Hatching before leaving, wanting to see who bonded with the others.

The Opal Queenling looked around, sniffing at the gathered people. That one smelled like too many of the feathery creatures... That little one smelled like mother, and that would just not do. She would not be Bonded to the same person that mother was. That was not smart. So, instead, she followed her Garnet brother, and stopped before Quiera. She chirped, nudging the girl's hand with her nose. This one. She wanted this one. This girl would be hers.
A few more eggs began to shake, but the other Garnet and the three Jades made their way to the others, looking for the person who they wanted to be their Bonded.
Quiera:
Name: Rank: Opal Basics: This female is on the larger side for an Opal, but proportionally. Her wings are of normal size for her body length. She doesn't like other females of her kind, and tends to be a bit mean toward the Aryvole females as well, at least the Clutching ones. Males, on the other hand, are a completely different story. She loves taking the boys' attention from her sisters, from the others. But of course she doesn't care much for the lower ranked males. Her attention stems mostly toward her Diamond brother.
